SIMTOS 2022, The largest manufacturing technology exhibition in Korea, was held for 5 days from May 23 to 27 at KINTEX 1 and 2.854 companies from 29 countries presented over 8,000 products at this cutting tool show.
In KINTEX 1, focusing on 'Cutting' and 'Digital Manufacturing', there are Metal Cutting & Die-Mold Tech Pavilion, MaterialㆍParts, Controls Tech Pavilion, Robotics & Digital Manufacturing Pavilion, Tooling & Measuring Tech Pavilion, and Additive Manufacturing Tech Pavilion.

Union Materials introduced Tooling references and Applications for Steel, Aero Space and Automotive industries.
Especially, we showed New Cutting Materials – SiAlON, SiC-Whisker, Carbide inserts and Ceramic Endmill, which have High performance to Hard-to-cut materials (HRSA - Inconel, Rene, Waspaloy, etc.).
During the Exhibition, more than 90 companies visited us. They had expressed interest in not only Ceramic Inserts but also PCD, PCBN and cutting tool solutions. This Exhibition was an opportunity to contact Customers directly and find new distributors and Customers.
The next SIMTOS Exhibition will be held in KINTEX, Goyang-si for 5 days from April 22 to 26 in 2024.
