SIMTOS 2024: Record-breaking Participation Showcases Global Leadership

SIMTOS 2024, held from April 1 to 5, 2024, achieved record-breaking success with the participation of over 1,300 companies from 35 countries. The exhibition served as a valuable platform for companies worldwide to showcase their products and technologies across five major machine tool sectors: metal cutting, materials and parts & control, tooling & measurement, cutting & welding, and press & forming.

Union Material highlighted its cutting-edge solutions at the event, presenting recommended inserts and various tools tailored to specific industry applications and cutting materials. Especially, the company unveiled two new products that garnered significant industry attention: ST800 (Alumina Ceramic), which offers a balanced combination of hardness and toughness for high-hardness steel, and SZ1000 (Zirconia Ceramic), which boasts enhanced impact resistance and tool life for cast iron and alloy steel.

Union Material also showcased its expertise in cutting materials, introducing SiAlON, Whisker, and Carbide inserts, along with Ceramic End Mills, suitable for machining aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel, Rene, and Waspaloy. The company's booth attracted over 130 visitors during the exhibition, generating strong interest in its Ceramic inserts, PCD, PCBN, and other products. Union Material also established valuable connections with potential customers from diverse sectors, including automotive part manufacturers and defense/aerospace companies, successfully expanding its customer base.
