Materials

  • Alumina
  • Alumina is the most popular materials in fine ceramics, due to excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance and insulated characteristics at a reasonable price compared with other fine ceramic materials.
  • Applications
  • Faucet Disc, Stem Ceramics, Cutting Tools, Mechanical Seals, Industrial Ceramics
  • Silicon Nitride
  • Silicon nitride has the highest thermal shock resistance of all the fine ceramic materials. Other unique characteristics are excellent corrosion resistance and fracture toughness with low thermal expansion, relatively low density and high strength.
  • Applications
  • Location Pin, Bearing & Precision Ball, Wire extruding Products (Dies), Cutting Tools, Automotive Engine Components, Fixture.
  • Zirconia
  • Zirconia exceeds other fine ceramic materials in strength and fracture toughness at normal temperature. It also carries out remarkably smooth surfaces and sharp edges with fine grain sizes.
  • Applications
  • Optical Ferrule, Accessories (Watch Parts ), Wire Drawing Products (Dies), Cutting Tools, Bead Bases, Scissors & Knives.
  • Silicon Carbide
  • Silicon carbide has the finest corrosion resistance in all developed ceramic materials. It retains constant strength at high temperature around 1,400¢ªC, and has excellent thermal shock resistance and wear resistance as well.
  • Applications
  • Mechanical Seals, Nozzles, Guides for fishing tackle, Wafer Plates
